How it works

3 Annual Meetings: Members gather at the Park House on the 4th Thursday of February, June, and October. Sign-in and registration is between 5:15-5:30 pm. At PROMPTLY 5:30 pm, the meeting begins and lasts no longer than one hour. Socializing may begin after the meeting to allow those who need to leave to do so.

Nominations: Any member may nominate an established local charity with 501c.3 status to the nominating committee by completing the online form Nominations must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the next meeting to be considered. Three organizations will be chosen for presentation at the meeting. See Charity Nomination Form.

Pitch & Vote: The nominating member will be given five minutes to present their organization to the group, after which members will vote. Organizations may win only one time every two years.

Donation: All members write a $100 check to the winning charity at the meeting. Checks are gathered by the Treasurer and presented to the winning organization. IF the organization accepts donations via Zelle or Venmo, members may donate via that avenue. For accounting purposes, the member will submit a slip of paper with their name and donation amount to the Treasurer.
